20th C Black Chinese Porcelain Vase
This lovely Mirror Black Chinese Porcelain Vase has a globular form with a long neck that tapers slightly down to the round body. It has a raised, flaring foot. The glaze around the foot is thinner and appears to be brownish rather than black. There are some surfaces scratches, likely from age and use, but no damage.
There is an apocryphal Yongzheng mark on the base. The vase is thought date to the 20th century based on the form, glaze, and foot rim. It does not have the extremely glassy glaze of later 20th century pieces and could possibly be a 19th century piece.
The vase is approximately 9 inches tall and 4.5 inches across the body.
