20th C Clair de Lune Chinese Porcelain Vase
This lovely 20th C Clair de Lune Chinese Porcelain Vase is a nice shade of sky blue that is hard to capture in photos. The color is a little softer than depicted in the photos. It is best shown with the different variations in the close up photos. The glaze around the rim is white as is around the elephant head handles. The blue glaze stops just above the base where a batavian glaze has been applied, revealing an unglaze section.
There is an apocryphal Qianlong mark on the base. The vase thought date to the early 20th century based on the foot rim. There is no damage.
The vase is approximately 8.5 inches tall and 6.5 inches across the body.
