Tongzhi Period Iron Red Sanduo Porcelain Bowl
This Tongzhi Period Iron Red Sanduo Porcelain Bowl is decorated with the three abundance fruits motif: peach, pomegranate, lychee. The four bats and stylized longevity symbols on exterior represent good luck and long life. The bowl dates to the Tongzhi period and is marked accordingly.
There is a hairline, which is shown in the photos. There are also firing flaws and other imperfections consistent with age, the most prominent being the firing flaw to the foot rim. There are no chips and no fritting. The piece displays well, as the hairline is only seen upon close inspection. The bowl is priced considering the condition.
The bowl has an approximate diameter of 8.25 inches and depth of 3 inches.
