Japanese Dragon Porcelain Plate
This interesting bowl produced in Japan around 1970, has a very unique decor. The decoration was completed in Hong Kong due to the high demand for Chinese decorated porcelain during that time period. However, the dragon motif popular with Japanese ceramics is the focal point of the design. The bowl has a green and blue dragons surrounded by flames and a floral motif within and a diamond patterned border. The gold trim highlights the reds, blues, and greens in the design. The bowl is stamped "ACF Japanese Porcelain Ware Hand Decorated in Hong Kong" and there some evidence of wear on the base. Excellent condition.
