Here is a unique hexagonal 20th C Chinese Porcelain Hat Stand Vase with hardwood stand. It is beautifully decorated with stylized lotus blossoms and scrolls with iron red bats on a blue enamel ground. The upper border is yellow ruyi heads while the lower border is an intricate design in yellow and blue. The blue ground is a nice deep color that complements the vivid colors of the designs. There is a clear, pure ring when the rim is gently pinged. One of my favorite pieces.
There is some wear to the enamel in areas as well as other signs of age and wear as shown in the pictures. There are not chips or cracks.
The vase is approximately 12 inches tall and 5.5 inches across the body.
