Sale price Price $125.00 Regular price

This set of Antique Japanese Kiseru dates to the early 20th century based on the provenance given at the time of acquisition. The pipe is bamboo with carved designs fitted with a brass bowl and mouthpiece made of bone. The box is made from a type of metal alloy. It has intricate designs formed on the lid. The bottle is also intricately designed with what appears to be a shell motif with a lapet lower border. The bottle may be silver, but also likely to be a type of mixed metal.

The pipe measures 9.5" tall, the box 1.5" by 1", and the bottle approximately 2" tall. There are definite signs of age, such as the tarnishing and slight corrosion inside the box. But there is no damage.
