Here is a lovely combination, a 19th C Rose Medallion Porcelain Gravy Boat and Tray. The gravy boat is beautifully decorated with gilding on the handle and around the rim. In addition to gilding, the tray has a pierced border, making for a unique combination. Each piece features a floral border surrounding alternating scenes of figures in a social setting and flowers and birds. The features of each person are detailed along with the garments and the painting of the birds, flowers, and butterflies.
The enamel and gilt to the gravy boat are worn and there are flea bites to the rim (please see all pictures). The tray is in excellent condition with minimal signs of use and wear. Price based on condition of both.
The gravy boat measures 7.5 x 4.5 x 4 inches. The tray is 10 inches long and 8.75 inches wide.
