Shakyamuni Buddha Statue

This is a depiction of teaching Buddha, Vitarka Mudra, in gilded bronze. He shown in a flowing garment sitting in the meditation pose on a lotus flower. The garment has detailed designs along the hem, similar to that of the garment covering the mid-section. The right hand symbolizes continuous flow of energy with the index finger and thumb forming a circle; while the left hand is palm up, holding an alms bowl.

The statue is about 7 inches in height and measures approximately 4.25 inches across the base.
