Antique Ceremonial Meditation Bowls

Here is a rare pair of melodious antique singing bowls depicting Shamanic figures. The bowls were likely considered healing bowls as the Dolpo are shown in bird form, typically representative of a helping spirit. The one bowl has a quite high tone with extended vibrations while the other has a lower tone with more pronounced resonance. The sound of both is truly amazing to my untrained ears.

Each bowl has a diameter of approximately 3.75 inches and is a little more than 2 inches tall. The metal is a type of heavy alloy, likely including silver and gold based on the color and weight. Each bowl weighs 1 lb. or about half a kilogram.
