Canton Famille Rose Enamel Bowl

Lovely enameled copper bowl featuring alternating floral scenes with birds and butterflies on a turquoise background. The counter enamel on the interior is green. The enamel on the base is white. The upper border is formed in a ruyi pattern in varying shades of pink.  The lower border is in the same shades of pink.

The enamel is in very good condition. There are a few small holes and iron spots visible under magnification.  There is no damage. The bowl dates to the Republic period. There are no marks.

The box measures 5 inches wide and 2.25 inches tall.
