Vintage Celadon Melon Form Vase
This is a 20th century rendition of a melon form bottle vase that was produced during the 12th century. The vase has a scalloped edge rim and a long neck accentuated with 2 rings, one in the middle and one at the base of the neck. The vase has an impact mark in the center of the body that spreads to a hairline from upper to lower rim. The vase presents beautifully, as the hairline is only visible on one side.
The vase is approximately 8.5 inches tall and 3.5 inches across the body. It is priced based on condition and includes the hardwood stand.
