A wonderful sculpture carved out of soapstone depicting what is thought to be a scene of a mother and child. The exact age and artist are not known due to the damage to the bottom of the sculpture. There are scratches on nearly the entire surface of the sculpture with the base revealing a loss of stone. The artistry is apparent and thought to be the early work of Zachariah Njobo. However, some aspects of the style are similar to Mukomberanwa.
The statue is a little less than 6 inches tall about 3.75 wide.
