This 19th century celadon dish is in lobed, flower-shaped, footed form. It is decorated with famille rose flower balls on the interior surface and a scrolling floral border of a complementary palette. The foot is decorated with a wave pattern.
There is a tongzhi mark to the base. If not of the period, then the dish was made no later than the guangxu period based on quality, form, and painting.
There is no apparent damage. The gilt on the rim is worn, but still in good condition and apparent on the entire rim.
The dish has a diameter of 9 inches and measures approximately 2 inches in height.
