This is a very nice Canton Enamel Snuff Bottle with a figural scene of a man on horseback with a boy in attendance on one side. The reverse has a man sitting beneath a tree with a rock formation in the background and a boy in attendance. There is an apocryphal Qianlong mark on the base. Believed to be late 19th C to early 20th C.
The snuff bottle shows signs of age in the tarnished metal around the rim of the cap, the mouth, and around the foot rim. The stopper is missing the spoon.
