An illustration of an identical bottle is featured in Bushell's Oriental Ceramic Art, (Figure 296)Although it was dated as 17th century by the prior owner, Bushell attributed it to the Qianlong period. The bottle is decorated with a molded design below a stylized symbol of longevity at the apex on each side. Each bottle is approximately 3.5 inches tall.

Both bottles are shown to highlight the variation in color of each celadon piece. However, the listing is only for one bottle. Each has wear and imperfections from use and age. There are two small hairlines, minor chips to the foot and upper rim, as well as firing flaws.
