This Rose Mandarin Porcelain vase is an high quality example of this export motif. The enamels are very skillfully applied with shading and layering to enhance the quality of the decoration. The court scene has a border consisting of common elements such as flowers and butterflies. The gilt trim is in excellent condition with very little loss.
There is no damage to the vase. The foo lion finial on lid is broken. This is captured in the pictures
The vase is approximately 11.5 inches tall with lid.
